Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club Celebrates 20 Years

20 Jul 2025

A Special Day

On Friday 18th July 2025, Nottinghamshire Powerchair Football Club came together to celebrate an incredible milestone – 20 years of the club. The special anniversary / birthday event took place at the iconic City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest FC.

The evening brought together players, family members, carers, and supporters from both the current season and those who have been part of the club’s journey over the past two decades. A total of 50 guests joined us to mark this fantastic occasion, which also included the club’s Annual General Meeting, the election of the 2025/26 committee, and our end-of-season awards ceremony.

Hugely Successful Raffle

The evening closed with our annual raffle, which raised over £600, thanks to the generosity of our community. We received 43 donated prizes, and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed by purchasing tickets or donating prizes.

Here’s to the next chapter in our journey, and to many more years of inclusive, competitive, and empowering powerchair football!
